Rosebank, Shore Acres & Park Hill

Rosebank, Shore Acres and Park Hill are on Staten Island's northeast shore along Upper New York Bay, south of Clifton and north of Arrochar. The age, density and style of Rosebank's housing resemble other North Shore neighborhoods. Hylan Boulevard, the city's longest commercial road, begins here at the Alice Austen House, the waterfront home and museum of photographer Alice Austen at 2 Hylan Boulevard. The Garibaldi-Meucci Museum at 420 Tompkins Avenue honors inventor Antonio Meucci and Giuseppe Garibaldi, who stayed at Meucci's home. The Staten Island Railway's Clifton station falls inside the area's northern edge, and local buses including the S51, S52, S78 and S81, plus express buses, serve the area.
