What we collect

• Account details if you sign up: name, email, a hashed password, and anything you add to your profile.
• Listings and messages you post or send through Roofy.
• Usage data: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location from IP address, collected through Google Analytics.

Calculators run entirely in your browser. We don't store what you type into them.

Advertising and cookies

Roofy shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings or visit aboutads.info. Google Analytics also uses cookies to measure traffic.

Public records

Building pages show public records published by New York City agencies, including owner names as listed in city data. We don't collect or sell personal information about tenants.

How we use and share data

We use your data to run the site: showing your listings, delivering messages and keeping accounts secure. We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help run Roofy (hosting, analytics, advertising) or when the law requires it.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your listings and profile from your dashboard. To delete your account entirely, contact us and we'll remove it.
