Boundaries checked by testing MTA station coordinates and landmark points against the 2020 NTA polygon (NYC Open Data 9nt8-h7nd). West edge is Eighth Avenue (Hell's Kitchen lies west); Park Avenue blocks belong to East Midtown, so the east edge is about Madison. Added the Port Authority A/C/E connection and the busiest-station ranking per Wikipedia (Times Square). Plaza wording corrected: Bloomberg announced on Feb 11, 2010 that the 42nd–47th St plazas would be permanent. Bryant Park acreage (9.603) and streets from the NYC Parks Properties dataset.
