Fact-checked October 12, 2026

Re-checked 2026-10-12: subway stations re-tested against the 2020 NTA polygon; PLUTO home counts and shares recomputed from residential units inside the polygon and matched; park acreages from the NYC Parks Properties dataset. Boundaries are approximate. Fixed: Ocean Parkway corridor starts at Avenue H (PLUTO lots on Avenue H fall inside); 1910s development tied to the Sea Beach line and 30x100 lots per Wikipedia; Gravesend Park 1917 acquisition and 18th Avenue location confirmed on NYC Parks; Friends Field (6.7 acres) is slightly larger than Gravesend Park (6.38). 20 Av (N) is about 100 m outside the polygon.
