LES energy and history, delivered straight to you... This lovely 1 bedroom apartment in a well maintained walk-up Co-op Building is situated near the heart of all the action, while remaining tucked away on a tree-lined block between Delancey and Rivington. The apartment is on the 3rd floor.

Original details abound in this quintessential LES apt -- parquet floors, high ceilings and french doors. The bedroom features a custom built-in closet system & enough room for a queen size bed. The kitchen fits a slim, full size fridge, plus a couch, and has a fully equipped kitchenette with lots of cabinets for your kitchen essentials. (Unfurnished besides Fridge & Oven)

Just one block from the entrance to the J, M, and Z trains, this apartment's location at 100 Suffolk offers an effortless commute to Midtown, Wall Street, or Brooklyn. And, more importantly, the short, one-block walk home is well-lit and off a main-thoroughfare, ensuring a safe arrival home at any hour for an L.E.S. Girl.

Working from home won't feel "remote" at all... you're surrounded by incredible restaurants and cafes that are great for a quick lunch break. Or, when you need a change of scenery or inevitably hit the wall at 3pm, just grab your laptop and head to one of the many coffee shops to soak in the neighborhood's vibrant energy and re-charge.

It's a 4 min walk to 'Target' and 'Trader Joe's' on Grand St; a 6 min walk to 'Metro Acres Market' on Clinton. In the other direction it's a 3 minute walk to the cinema ('Regal Essex Crossing'), or a 6 min walk to the 'Metrograph' Arts Cinema on Ludlow from the apartment. On the weekends you can explore Soho, East Village, Chinatown and Little Italy without needing to set foot on a subway. If you're into HIIT workouts, the 'F45' gym on Delancey is a 2 min walk from your front door. Do you prefer outdoor running? The southern half of the East River Park Track has been beautifully rebuilt and elevated. It is fully open, and it's about an 8 min walk from the apartment. Hot Yoga? Also only an 8 min walk in the other direction ('ID Hot Yoga') up on Allen St.

You're also one subway stop (F) away from the Wholefoods on Bowery/Houston St. If you're a lap swimmer, below this Wholefoods is a YMCA with a heated 25 yard indoor lap pool available all year (with YMCA membership). In the summer, Hamilton Fish (pool) is an entirely outdoor pool facility, open for lap swimming (and general swimming); it's a massive 55 yard outdoor (Olympic size) pool, meaning you can hit your flow state. (Olympic pools are hard to find in Manhattan!! Other than Hamilton Fish, the next closest true Olympic-sized pool in Manhattan is the Asphalt Green on E 90th St. Your new apt is a 9 min walk from the Hamilton Fish pool in the summer months). (If you've lived in NYC for a while you know your 10 block radius is super important!)

The building has a laundry room located in the adjacent Co-op building; there is also a full time live in superintendent who is adored by who all the tenants.

Additional storage is available in the hallway closet, so you can tuck away your large items between seasons and travels (suitcase, AC, hatbox, steam mop, winter puffer, beach chairs etc.)

I am the owner of the apartment and I live on the West Coast. My tenant and her cute little bulldog are moving to Paris, after residing in this apt for 4 years, so this is the first time the apartment has been available in a while.

Please send me an email with your basic details and let me know if you have any questions. Earlier move-in date possible.
