Re-verified 2026-10-12 by roofy-research: neighborhood list matches the 'Neighborhoods' line on council.nyc.gov/district-17. Housing shares recomputed from PLUTO 26v2 (sum of unitsres grouped by council and bldgclass; A/B = one- and two-family, C = walk-up, D = elevator, R = condominium; NYCHA share = units on lots with owner name containing 'HOUSING AUTH'). Subway and rail stations re-placed by point-in-polygon test of MTA station coordinates (data.ny.gov 39hk-dx4f, wxmd-5cpm) against the City Council Districts boundary file (872g-cjhh); every station named matches. Park names, acreage and Flagship/Nature Area type checked in NYC Parks Properties (enfh-gkve, councildistrict field), including shared parks. Corrected: NYCHA examples replaced with the largest developments per the Data Book (Forest 1,350, Bronx River 1,246, Melrose 1,023) and NYCHA share (9.5%) added. 149 St station shown as named in the MTA dataset.
