Discontinue use of rooms for living, disconnect plumbing fixtures where illegal and properly seal pipe connections on 10/17/2023, i observed a cellar in a 2 story single family masonry building illegally converted into a class 'a' apartment with 1 bathroom (water closet, wash basin and shower stall) and 1 kitchen (sink and gas stove). at time of inspection no second means of egress were present. due to the above mentioned reason, i recommend a vacate. dob was notified. srn# 311-16277082. violation 1061 and 1492 reported. at cellar
